As you may have noticed, I haven’t posted for a couple days. My sister-in-law is expecting and we gave her a shower today. I’ve been pretty busy with decorations and food. Here’s a few pics of the fun.

I used the Art Philosophy cart for the banner pieces, Create a Critter for the animals, and cupcake for the letters! The shower was a jungle theme!

Just Because H2H

I’m on a roll ever since I went through all my supplies! I know where everything is now. Makes it so much easier to finish a project. (And, I’m trying to make good use of my insomnia.)

    
     This week at Heart 2 Heart is a sketch     challenge. I like sketch challenges because it gives me a jumping off point. For me, the hardest part of my creative process is where/what to start.

As I was flipping through my B&T samples, I instantly knew exactly what I wanted to do.  I used the new Pemberly paper pack, and the oh so versatile ‘Card Word Puzzle’ stamp set.

I also know exactly who will be getting this card in the mail!

You’re a Star!

I LOVE the sketch at Mojo Monday this week, and was kicking around some ideas. Today I really am in need of a beach day, since it is blustery, wet, and rainy. I used the new Footloose paper pack, and the new ’Under the Sea’ stamp set. It brought me a little sunshine…if only in my mood.

My 4 year old also wanted to craft with me today and this is her creation…

She apparently misses beach days as much as I do!

You’re Invited

I have a LOT of invitations to make for an upcoming church activity. I thought this would be the perfect way to use some of my stash that I don’t readily use. A long, long time ago I picked up a 300ct package of pre-scored A2 card bases. I thought, hey, I make a lot of cards this will be handy. Well, 4-5 years later I am left with an assortment of colors that I haven’t had a use for…until today!

I cut each A2 card base in half to reduce bulk, and get more invites out of the paper. I just have a quick print-out to glue to the other side and they’ll be ready to hand out on Sunday…that is if I can get all 60 of them done by then. Wish me luck!

Here is a close up of my favorite color combo. The patterned cardstock is from the Sonoma paper pack. So, pretty!

My First Giveaway!!!

I’ve come to the realization that I am a scrapbook supply hoarder! My hubby finished up some shelving for me last night, so I could have a place for it all. Well, a few months ago when we re-arranged furniture and stuff, a couple of storage crates ended up in the garage. It was scrapbook supplies. Sorry I’ve been a bit lacking in the blogging…I’ve had family visiting and quite frankly it’s a bit chaotic around here. But, today I was able to get crafty with my lil’ sis. It’s so great that our girls play so nicely together, and that my little guy took a nice long nap.

This cute little card was inspired by Clean & Simple’s sketch FTL176, and this weeks Heart 2 Heart Challenge.
