Hello Friend

Ahh! I know it has been awhile since I last posted…We got really busy, and then ‘Snopocalypse’ happened. And, we all got sick. Thing is…I’ve been crafting, just not getting things posted.

Today’s project was so fun! I combined two challenges to come up with it! Exploring Cricut’s challenge this week is to use at least 1 ribbon, 2 cricut cuts, and 3 brads, jewels, or buttons.  And this week’s Heart 2 Heart challenge is to go 3-D.

I cut the purse out using the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cartridge, and the flower with Art Philosophy.  The paper is from the NEW collection Stella. (available 2/1) It is quickly becoming my favorite.

Happy Birthday

Today is my nephew’s birthday, so I thought I’d whip up a card to send…it will be late though. So, as I was browsing through some challenge blogs, I stumbled upon the perfect fit for today at Exploring Cricut. Their challenge is to use red, blue, green, and yellow to make a birthday card.  I used the sketch on Mojo Monday #224 to put it all together. I think it turned out pretty cute.

“Stick to it!”

Today’s post will be short & sweet. Last night we had a church activity for women. We had one of my friends come teach us about making, maintaining, and achieving goals. We all had a lot of fun, and learned lots. (I did anyway)

For dessert I made these cute take-out boxes as a reminder to keep up with our goals, and filled them with fortune cookies.

I used the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge with my Gypsy to cut all the pieces out! Seriously…LOVE this cartridge! It is pretty much my go-to for for projects.
